As Senior Vice President of Exterior Restoration, Scott Parello is responsible for leading ULTRA’s Masonry and Waterproofing and Painting & Repairs Division. Scott oversees large-scale facade and building envelope structural repairs, maintenance and waterproofing projects. In addition to managing daily operations of the division, Scott provides clients with consultation, investigations, detailed budgets and cost benefit analysis.
Scott began his career in 1984 as a mason apprentice in Boston and rose through the ranks to senior, executive-level management. His degree in Construction Management, as his hands on industry experience, have contributed to his wide ranging expertise in restoration, waterproofing and building envelopes. Scott’s knowledge and education have supported the successful growth of multiple organizations from inception to re-organizations.
Scott’s background includes serving as a former Historic Landmarks Commissioner. He’s also participated in and contributed to various local and national technical committees and associations dealing with exterior building envelopes and masonry restoration. From being mentored to becoming a mentor with countless top-notch estimators, project managers and superintendents, Scott’s developed a wide ranging background and knowledge in the field of building envelopes.
Scott is passionate about his work. His technical hands-on experience in Field Operations, Management, Consulting, Education and Contracting, equip him to guide clients with budgets, project management, development of repair and maintenance work scopes, all contributing to delivering superior project results.
Scott and his family live in Maryland. In his free time, he is active with his family, the community and the church. He’s an avid outdoor enthusiast often enjoying the Mid-Atlantic region’s many hiking trails.
