Reston Business Campus, Exterior Renovations

This four-building project called for replacement of all exterior sealants.  This included the complete removal and replacement of brick control joints, wall penetration points, surface mounted appurtenances, as well as window and door caulking.  Backer rod was also replaced, where necessary, and the joints were fully primed and silicone sealants installed.

Additionally, the buildings’ doors and windows were prepared and a full silicone wet glazing was performed.  The buildings’ restoration was further enhanced by selective tuck pointing, rail painting and rail post pocket caulking.  Coping joint re-caulking was also performed and a leaking rooftop HVAC unit and duct work was repaired.  Finally, all buildings were fully pressure-cleaned.
